The 24th Piano Festival Husum

at husum castle will be held on 21st – 28th August 2010.

The musical program is the focus of the event. The idea for the festival, known internationally as the “Piano Festival Husum” provides the opportunity for renowned pianists to play relatively unknown piano pieces and to disseminate them throughout the world by means of the selection of live-recordings from the festival presented on the annual CD.

Not too large and not too small, but rather so that they would both attract the attention of the connaisseur and offer the layman interesting opportunities for listening and learning…for in piano music there are not only the main composers of music history..., but also persons who, for various reasons, did not gain access to the music channels, although they composed fantastic pieces of music."
